This site was set up in June 1999 to show fans of Home and Away in the UK what they were missing because of ITV's petty and grossly unfair censorship of the show. In June 2000, ITV broadcast their final episode of Home and Away (episode 2840), and, after a wait of a year (enforced on fans because of ITV's pettiness in enforcing a clause in their contract that prevented Channel 5 from resuming broadcast of the series until July 2001) the series finally resumed on 16 July. The signs so far are good - C5 have not made any cuts to their first two weeks of episodes - and it is hoped that they won't censor Home and Away at all, in which case it will never be necessary to add new clips to this site ever again. However, the information on this page and on the 1999 page stands as testament to how ITV abused its power to ruin one of its most consistently popular series.

Clicking on the links below will download uncut RealVideo clips (sourced from Australian television) of scenes that were either fully- or partly-cut from ITV's airings of Home and Away in the UK. Files are listed under the episode number and UK transmission date of the episode in which the cuts were made. The file size and clip length of each file are also given. This page contains virtually all known cuts from episode 2756 (the start of 2000 episodes) onwards. The most recent cuts are listed first.
